Since July 2014, a total of 151 Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (RTA) re-applications were refused due to ongoing non-compliance.

Through being collaborative in the first instance the ARC have helped 111 of these businesses to become compliant, however, 40 businesses remained deficient with non-compliances and, as a result, are no longer legally 'in business' when it comes to the purchase and handling of fluorocarbon refrigerant.
